Hi-I'm Ms. Armour! I'm your Business and Computer Science and Social Studies teacher. I would like to welcome you and introduce myself to you. I have two grown sons. I have a Bachelor's degree from Piedmont College in Business and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Secondary Education. I am currently working on furthering my degree through Kennesaw State. I am certified in Busienss Education, Math, Language Arts, Special Education, ESOL, Gifted and Social Studies. I enjoy reading, tennis and spending time with my family.

Experience

This is my 13th year of teaching. I have taught at Habersham Ninth Grade Academy, Banks County High School, and South Habersham Middle School. I have taught Business and Computer Science, Math and Reading Remediation, 6th Science, 7th Social Studies, and 7th grade Math.

Course Description:              

BCSI-The purpose of this course is to give students keyboarding and computer skills that will serve them throughout their school years, in their personal lives, and in their careers.  This course is designed to refine basic keyboarding skills as well as develop skills in keyboarding, computer fundamentals, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, presentations, work ethics and the Internet.

BCSII-The purpose of this course is to give students keyboarding and computer skills that will serve them throughout their school years, in their personal lives, and in their careers.  This course is designed to refine basic keyboarding skills as well as develop skills in keyboarding, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, database, presentations, careers, and the Internet.

BCSIII-The purpose of this course is to give students keyboarding and computer skills that will serve them throughout their school years, in their personal lives, and in their careers.  This course is designed to refine basic keyboarding, word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, database, presentations, and the Internet. It, also, introduces them to Web Page Design, Information Systems, Internet Safety, Business Foundations, 21ST Century Skills, and Careers.
